responsibilities:
- Define production phase sequences, methods, and cycle times to achieve target product costs and equipment investment budgets.
- Identify, recommend, and execute process improvement projects to enhance manufacturing productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Approve internal and external process designs, conducting final testing to ensure compliance with project targets and standards.
- Provide hands-on support during process and equipment start-ups, establishing action plans and training maintenance and production teams.
- Evaluate and implement new process technologies, establishing testing criteria and selection guidelines for external equipment providers.
qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in the manufacturing industry.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Microsoft Office, and SAP or similar ERP systems.
Strong working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and 5S principles.
