Our client is seeking a hands-on Mechanical/Electrical Lab Technician to support testing and process applications in an industrial laboratory setting. In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with Project Engineers to set up equipment, run tests, and wire electrical components, while also handling instrument calibration. responsibilities:
Set up equipment for tests and rentals
Assist Project Engineers in running tests and collecting data
Instrumentation calibration
Electrical wiring of PLCs, controllers, motors and other 3-phase components
Perform weekly Test Material Inventories
qualifications:
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics
Ability to understand and follow safety procedures with mechanical equipment
and high voltage electrical equipment
Understanding of controllers, control valves, transmitters and other process
instrumentation
Requirements:
2 year Technical Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equipment preferred
Previous experience with mechanical or electrical systems
Prior Military Veterans are highly encouraged to apply
