responsibilities:
- Perform design work, preliminary cost estimates, and accurate financial contracts for electric and gas new construction, service expansions, and system improvements.
- Serve as the central point of contact for developers, contractors, engineering firms, and local agencies to drive external customer satisfaction.
- Maintain working knowledge of company standards, tariffs, and regulatory requirements to deliver cost-effective utility designs.
- Lead pre-construction meetings with inspectors, general foremen, and area service managers to coordinate project requirements.
- Participate in after-hours rotational on-call supervisor duties and support emergency restoration activities during storms.
qualifications:
High School Diploma and at least 1 year of related work experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of electric and gas design, operating and construction practices, and governing federal, state, and local regulations.
Strong analytical, planning, project management, decision-making, and interpersonal communication skills, alongside proficiency with standard office software.
