We are searching for an Electrical Engineering Manager in the Roanoke, VA to work for a client that provides custom building solutions for the energy and industrial sector. This role will provide support to Engineering Supervisors and be the right-hand person to the Engineering Director.
This is a direct-hire role with great benefits(Medical, Dental, PTO, etc.) and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).

responsibilities:
- Manage, mentor, and evaluate the performance of a multidisciplinary team of primarily Electrical Designers as well as well as other disiplines
- Review integrated electrical, HVAC, and backup power configurations created by the design team to ensure customer specifications are met seamlessly
- Bridge the gap between engineering, manufacturing, and site installation by troubleshooting complex design-build issues
qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with electrical engineering and design of energy or industrial construction projects
-2+ years of management experience
-Ability to read, interpret, and review both complex electrical schematics (power distribution, HVAC controls) and structural/mechanical drafting files.
-Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks)
-Experience with design-build modular structures, prefabricated enclosures, or commercial building envelope construction is preferred
