responsibilities:
- Calculate and document engineering forces, moments, Mass, and Center of Gravity (CoG) from turbine-generator components to customer interfaces.
- Apply mechanical design principles, Free Body Diagrams (FBD), and structural foundation/building codes to ensure robust interface integration.
- Update and standardize work procedures to maintain high engineering quality and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives.
qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) with 0 to 3+ years of mechanical design or engineering experience.
Solid grasp of core mechanical design principles, including Free Body Diagrams (FBD), forces and moments calculations, and structural foundation or building codes.
Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills with a drive to optimize engineering procedures.
