The Role You will design metal stamping dies ranging from simple one-hit tools to sophisticated progressive and transfer systems. You’ll be the bridge between a concept and a physical tool, ensuring every design is optimized for cost, manufacturability, and performance.

What You Bring

• Experience: Proven track record in metal stamping die design (Progressive die experience is a must).
  
  
• Tech Skills: High CAD proficiency, preferably in SolidWorks (surfacing skills are a plus).
  
  
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of material flow and die construction.
  
  
• Communication: Ability to lead technical discussions and customer design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Engineer innovative metal stamping die solutions, from simple one-hit tools to complex progressive and transfer systems
• Drive early-stage concept development by partnering with the estimating team to create competitive, manufacturable designs
• Collaborate cross-functionally with toolmakers, and production to move projects efficiently from concept to completion
• Lead and contribute to customer-facing design reviews
• Assist in tool debugging and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance
• Continuously improve tooling performance, manufacturability, and internal processes
