- • Build circuit boards within a standardized time (build templates are used to track your progress) • Review written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) regularly, follow instructions, and compare finished work to ensure accuracy • Operate SMT machines and PC-based control systems used in circuit board assembly • Load programs, initiate production runs, and monitor machine performance • Perform visual inspections of PCBs to ensure quality and accuracy • Assist in loading/unloading feeders and components into SMT machines • Perform basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning machines and changing reels • Record production data and enter information into the computer system, as necessary • Report machine malfunctions or quality issues to the appropriate team member • Tests circuit boards for reliability and accuracy • Assist with overstock inventory control • Hand-solder specialty components • Successfully operate machinery with careful consideration of all safety training and standards • Contributes to process improvements initiates • Assist with special projects and as necessary • Act as a mentor to entry level PC team members • Train as a back-up for other departments as necessary • Work in other departments to support business goals and activities as required • Work as a team and independently to complete special projects, assigned goals, and finished product builds • Keep work area clean and organized
