Responsibilities
Execute full-cycle processing for a complex, multi-state weekly and bi-weekly payroll, ensuring precision in wage calculations, bonuses, and statutory deductions.
Oversee multi-jurisdictional tax compliance, managing state-specific withholding requirements and mandatory reporting.
Conduct rigorous audits of payroll cycles and perform account reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
Lead year-end activities, including the preparation and filing of federal and state tax returns and W-2 distribution.
Serve as the subject matter expert on evolving labor laws, including FLSA, FMLA, and COBRA, to mitigate corporate risk.
Manage the end-to-end administration of comprehensive benefits portfolios, including health, dental, retirement plans (401k), and life insurance.
Act as a key stakeholder in annual negotiations with insurance brokers and third-party vendors to optimize plan offerings.
Orchestrate the annual open enrollment process, developing communication strategies to educate staff on benefit options.
Audit and reconcile monthly premium invoices to ensure accurate payroll deductions and vendor payments.
Serve as the primary administrator for the HRIS (Dayforce), managing system configuration, data security, and troubleshooting.
Develop and analyze key HR metrics, such as turnover and headcount trends, to provide actionable insights for senior leadership.
Lead system upgrades and module testing to enhance automated workflows and user experience.
