As an Underwriting Analyst, you’ll play a key role throughout the insurance policy lifecycle—from the initial submission to policy issuance. You’ll provide essential administrative and technical support to help underwriters manage both new and renewal business efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities include:
- Processing account clearance and OFAC checks
- Entering submissions and preparing underwriting files
- Generating raters, loss runs, quotes, binders, and policy documents
- Managing midterm endorsements and assisting with renewals
- Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring workflow compliance
- Supporting underwriters with day-to-day operational needs
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of underwriting analyst or relevant insurance experience preferred
- strong attention to detail and quality work output
- Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and Adobe PDF
- Exceptional organization and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- strong communication and collaboration skills
- Self-starter with a proactive, customer-focused mindset
