- Bachelors degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience, or an Associates and 4 years of relevant experience preferred
- A combination of military experience in electrical distribution operations management, or work experience in electric utility environment and education may be considered
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Skilled in use of hand/power tools; can operate man lifts and industrial lift trucks
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid First Aid/CPR certification
- Able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs over short distances
- Able to climb/work from ladders and at heights using appropriate PPE
- Ability to distinguish color codes and hear alarms in industrial environments
- Comfortable working in temperatures up to 130°F for brief periods
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, overtime, and travel up to two weeks as needed

Responsibilities
- Supervise, Lead, and Perform Electrical Tasks: Conduct inspection routes; monitor equipment; read meters; record data in operational logs; and report abnormal operating conditions.
- Electrical Systems Operation: Oversee and perform operations for large electrical equipment (start/stop, open/close, adjust, regulate) used for power generation and distribution.
- Plant Maintenance: Supervise and execute the overhaul, repair, and routine servicing of all plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Operational Reliability: Maintain safe and economical operation of plant equipment within established guidelines and limits.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce and adhere to safety protocols (e.g., Lock-Out-Tag-Out, NFPA 70E), startup/shutdown procedures, and company security policies.
- Work Area Cleanliness: Ensure cleanliness of all electrical spaces and associated equipment through direct action and oversight of staff.
- Documentation Management: Maintain manufacturer, insurance, and regulatory documents related to equipment operations and maintenance.
