The Role at a Glance As our Senior Accountant, you will ensure our financial records are airtight and our daily liquidity is perfectly tracked. You’ll be the bridge between high-level financial reporting and day-to-day cash movements.
Core Responsibilities General Ledger Mastery (50%)
- Accuracy: Maintain and reconcile GL accounts to ensure total completeness.
- Reporting: Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments; assist in month, quarter, and year-end closes.
- Analysis: Investigate account variances and discrepancies with a keen eye.
- Compliance: Support the preparation of financial statements and act as a key point of contact for internal/external auditors.
- Daily Operations: Monitor and record AR, AP, and international funds transfers.
- Reconciliation: Perform bank statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Control: Ensure all activities adhere strictly to internal controls and company policies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the AP/AR teams to ensure cash flow is recorded with 100% accuracy.
