Purpose of the Job The Route Service Manager delivers batteries and provides exceptional customer service to a predetermined route of customers and dealers within their territory.  This role collaborates with dealers to ensure the best mix of batteries on the rack, that battery quality programs are being executed, and builds relationships to foster improved dealer retention. Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
  
  
• Experience: Minimum of one year in delivery and customer service.
  
  
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in electronic inventory management tools (tablets, scanners) and the ability to perform basic math.
  
  
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
  
• Physical Ability: Must be able to regularly lift and/or move 75 lbs and handle repetitive lifting.
  
  
• Requirements: Must possess and maintain a valid DOT medical card, a state Driver’s License, and a clean driving record.
  
  
• Mindset: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work with a sense of urgency and limited supervision.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Delivery & Logistics: Safely and efficiently deliver products to dealers on your assigned route. Load and unload trucks while maintaining an accurate account of all company assets.
  
  
• Account Management: Manage dealer accounts end-to-end, including sales, consignment, warranties, rotations, cash collection, and invoicing.
  
  
• Merchandising: Keep displays and products clean, fully stocked, and rotated according to consignment agreements.
  
  
• Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with all stakeholders, including team members and customers.
  
  
• Compliance: Follow all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) rules, driver program requirements, and complete all paperwork/transactions accurately and on time.
