- Housekeeping: Sweeping aisles, clearing away discarded shrink-wrap or broken pallets, and keeping workstations organized (often called 5S).
- Equipment Maintenance: Performing daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts, pallet jacks, or conveyor belts to ensure they are safe to operate.
- Safety Compliance: Adhering strictly to OSHA standards, including wearing PPE (steel-toed boots, high-vis vests) and following proper lifting techniques.

Responsibilities

These are the daily tasks that keep the supply chain moving.
- Order Fulfillment: Picking items from shelves based on digital or paper "pick tickets" and prepping them for shipment.
- Loading & Unloading: Manually or mechanically moving freight from delivery trucks into the warehouse (and vice versa).
- Packing & Labeling: Securing items in boxes, applying correct shipping labels, and ensuring fragile items are protected.
- Palletizing: Stacking boxes onto pallets in a stable, secure manner and using shrink-wrap machines to prep them for transport.
