We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage our daily financial operations. This role is essential to our financial health and requires a professional who can work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy. The successful candidate will manage all accounts payable and receivable activities while maintaining strong vendor relationships. 



salary: $20 - $25 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Processing vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments, and managing customer billing and collections.
  
  
• Bank & Credit Card Reconciliation: Verifying that all statements match the internal ledger (typically on a weekly or monthly basis) to identify discrepancies.
  
  
• Payroll Administration: Calculating wages, managing tax withholdings (state and federal), and ensuring compliance with Connecticut labor laws.
  
  
• Financial Reporting: Preparing monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports for management review.
  
  
• General Ledger Maintenance: Keeping a clean, "audit-ready" trail of all financial activities using double-entry bookkeeping
