Responsibilities
- Accounting cycle: Financial flows for AP, AR, and Payroll while providing expert oversight of inventory valuation, costing, and fixed asset depreciation.
- Close: Handle the month-end and year-end close cycles, ensuring all financial statements are prepared for review.
- Reconciliations: Manage reconciliations for cash, intercompany accounts, and customer deposits, resolving any variances
- Tax: Act as the primary liaison for lenders and tax preparers, managing the preparation of 1099s, corporate property tax, and sales tax filings across FL, NJ, and CA.
- Team supervision: Directly supervise the AP/AR Specialist and collaborate with the Purchasing and Operations departments to resolve root-cause accounting issues.
