We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. This role is vital to the health of our organization, focusing on the collections and reconciliations of customer statements. As a Credit Analyst in this position, you will be responsible for minimizing bad debt risk and maximizing account receivable collections. You will act as a key communicator, counseling and advising both company personnel and customers on credit department policies and procedures. Qualifications

• Experience: 2–3 years of dedicated Collections experience.
• Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to manage difficult customers with extreme courtesy, professionalism, and diplomacy.
• Decision Making: Critical thinking and decision-making skills that directly impact the company’s bottom line.
• Technical Proficiency: Excellent computer skills, including advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Soft Skills: Outstanding leadership qualities with the ability to multitask effectively while remaining a dedicated team player.
• Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to maintain outstanding performance while under pressure in a fast-paced environment

salary: $26 - $30 per hour

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and releasing orders from credit hold, billing, cash postings, and deposits
• Conduct collection calls to collect Accounts Receiveable
• Assist with order management
• Negotiate customer disputes to resolution and document root cause
• Provide excellent customer service and develop relationships with customers
• Maintain accurate credit and collection files. Maintain electronic collection notes for each customer account.
• Other duties as assigned
