Pay: $27.00 – $28.00/hr
Type: Full-Time Contract (Growth Potential)
The Role Are you a tech-forward accountant who thrives in high-growth, Private Equity-backed environments? We are seeking a Senior Accounting Specialist to join our Medley manufacturing plant. This is a high-visibility role bridging the gap between factory operations and financial leadership. You will manage complex data syncs, optimize inventory logic, and help implement AI-driven automation tools. We value "Supervisory Integrity"—meaning you own your process, maintain a clean audit trail, and drive efficiency in a fast-paced industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities
- ERP Data Management (NetSuite): Audit daily production imports from the shop floor into the ERP. Troubleshoot sync errors to ensure the ledger reflects real-time labor and material costs.
- WIP & Cost Accounting: Track Work-in-Progress (WIP) and raw material (steel, foam, components) consumption. Maintain accurate inventory valuation across the entire production lifecycle.
- High-Volume 3-Way Matching: Execute rigorous matching for 100+ daily invoices. Cross-reference POs and Vendor Invoices with physical Receiving Logs from the Medley loading docks.
- AP Automation: Partner with the Tech Lead to optimize AI tools (Bill.com/Tipalti). Train the system to automate coding for recurring manufacturing cost centers and streamline workflows.
- DSO & Revenue Protection: Oversee the A/R Aging report. Investigate installation payment discrepancies to reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) for Private Equity reporting.
- Accelerated Month-End Close: Support a 3-day close goal through daily bank reconciliations and weekly "mini-closes." Ensure all accounts are audit-ready with complete documentation.
- Operational Liaison: Coordinate directly with warehouse and production leads to verify physical counts and resolve vendor shipping errors at the source.
- Experience: 3–7+ years in accounting within Manufacturing, Logistics, or Industrial sectors.
- Tech-Savvy: NetSuite experience is a major plus, but we will consider "System Power Users" who have mastered multiple high-level ERPs (SAP, Oracle, etc.). Advanced Excel is required.
- Integrity: Proven ability to maintain internal controls and SOPs in a busy, scaling environment.
- Local: Must be able to work on-site at our Medley facility.
