Operating from our brand-new, 22,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility in Chatsworth, CA, we are expanding nationwide and seeking a skilled RF / Electrical Calibration Technician to join our team onsite.

Key Responsibilities
- RF/Microwave Calibration: Calibrate complex instruments (Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Frequency Counters, Network Analyzers).
- Compliance & Standards: Perform tests to NIST-traceable standards, maintaining compliance with A2LA, ISO/IEC 17025, and ANSI/NCSL.
- Data & Reporting: Maintain department datasheets and generate precise, compliant calibration certificates.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Run automated software diagnostics and manual bench testing. Investigate malfunctions, execute root cause analysis, and repair electro-mechanical components.
- Audit & Safety: Assist in quality audits, provide technical guidance, and enforce strict lab safety and ESD protocols.
- Field Service: Provide onsite calibration services at customer facilities and manage client relations.
- Metrology Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on test equipment calibration experience, with 5 years specializing in Radio Frequency (RF) preferred.
- Elite Training: Military PMEL / TMDE / DOD training is highly preferred.
- Standards Knowledge: Deep familiarity with A2LA accreditation and ISO/IEC 17025.
- Logistics & Compliance: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record and hold U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.

- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Optional Overtime)
- Salary: $40.00 – $60.00/hour ($83,200 – $124,800/year), DOE

Responsibilities

- Audit Support: Lead and assist in quality audits, providing data analysis, trend insights, and technical guidance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Inspect equipment and collaborate with quality and process engineers to address measurement issues.
- Lab Safety & ESD: Enforce strict laboratory safety rules and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) prevention protocols.
- Field Service: Provide onsite calibration services at customer facilities, managing field equipment and client relations.
