Responsibilities
- Develop and update HR policies in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Provide training and guidance to HR staff and management on compliance issues.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to HR compliance.
- Investigate and resolve compliance-related issues or concerns.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in employment laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with legal counsel or external consultants as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in HR compliance, legal, or related roles.
- strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret legal language and implement policies accordingly.
- Attention to detail and high level of integrity.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR)
- Experience with HRIS systems
