We are seeking an Account Manager for a premier mechanical services company in the DMV area. This role is the perfect blend of client relations, service dispatch coordination, and contract administration. - Experience: 2–3 years of experience in the HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical contracting industry is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint) and proven aptitude for managing work order and CRM databases (such as Salesforce and NetFacilities).
- Contracts Knowledge: Solid understanding of basic contract processes, invoice review, billing reconciliation, and the procurement/bidding process.
- Core Skills: Exceptional customer service, problem-solving abilities, and high emotional intelligence. Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: High School diploma or GED required; a college degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Communications is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Account Management & Client Relations: Serve as the primary business contact for an existing customer base. Build meaningful relationships, handle service inquiries, resolve issues, and provide accurate cost estimates for repairs.
- Service Dispatching & Scheduling: Manage the work order system (Salesforce, NetFacilities) to accurately initiate, assign, and prioritize service calls. Coordinate field activities and logistics for HVAC and plumbing technicians.
- Contract & RFP Administration: Track and manage service contracts. Review company contractual obligations, handle billing/invoicing tracking, and assist leadership with writing and editing bids in response to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
- Operations & Supply Coordination: Source and research tools, equipment, and materials for pricing, forecasting, and project management. Collaborate with supervisors, technicians, and suppliers to ensure daily operations run smoothly.
- On-Call Rotation: Participate in a scheduled after-hours on-call rotation to handle evening, weekend, and holiday customer service emergencies.
