Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, identify, and resolve complex invoice discrepancies related to electronic and unpaid billing.
- Check invoices for strict compliance with organization policy, budget boundaries, and 1099 reporting guidelines.
- Review and approve departmental payment requests, ensuring accurate, timely documentation.
- Handle sales and use tax assessments appropriately across high-volume accounts.
- Create, generate, and run operational tracking, ad-hoc, and monitoring reports for analysis.
- Maintain work queues diligently to satisfy strict enterprise Service Level Agreements.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Prior experience in a complex hospital or university (UC) environment is required.
- strong knowledge of the full AP lifecycle with a stable, non-contract-heavy tenure history.
- Proficiency with large ERP systems; experience with Oracle Cloud (Oracle Fusion) and GHX is highly preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills with the capacity to manage large financial data sets.
- Clear written and verbal communication to provide exceptional customer service to internal campus teams and external vendors.
- Must clear standard hospital onboarding clearances, including physical exams, drug screenings, and mandatory vaccinations.
