Responsibilities
Payroll Processing & Administration
- Manage the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of multi-state payroll (salaried, hourly, full-time, and part-time employees) in accordance with labor laws.
- Review and verify timecards, deductions, bonuses, commissions, and garnishments to ensure precise calculations before final execution.
- Maintain and update employee profiles within ADP Workforce Now.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and 401(k) or retirement plans.
- Facilitate the benefits onboarding process for new hires, manage status changes for qualifying life events, and help lead the annual Open Enrollment period.
- Coordinate with insurance brokers, third-party administrators, and retirement providers to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure smooth service delivery.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all payroll and benefits practices adhere to federal, state, and local regulations.
- Perform regular internal audits of payroll records, tax filings, and benefits billings to identify and correct discrepancies.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc payroll and benefits reports for finance, HR leadership, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Track, document, and administer employee leaves of absence.
