- Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a purchasing role (experience in construction, or a related industry is a huge plus).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Negotiation Mastery: Proven ability to negotiate high-value contracts and secure favorable commercial terms.
- Data Literacy: Advanced analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and experience using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or procurement software.
- Communication: Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and manage external partnerships. Spanish speaking candidates are highly desirable.
- Certification: CPIM, CSCP, or CPSM certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing & Procurement: Develop and implement localized and nationwide sourcing strategies to secure cost-effective and high-quality materials, equipment, and services.
- Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and build long-term relationships with reliable suppliers. Conduct regular vendor performance reviews based on quality, delivery speed, and pricing compliance.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for supplier contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing terms to maximize profitability and minimize supply chain risks.
- Inventory & Demand Planning: Partner closely with internal operations and project teams to forecast demand, maintain optimal inventory levels, and prevent material shortages or overstock.
- Cost Optimization: Analyze market trends, material costs, and pricing data to identify cost-reduction opportunities and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Compliance & Record Keeping: Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and industry regulations. Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and contracts.
