Randstad is seeking a dynamic HR Consultant with foundational experience in employee relations and performance management consultation working with our global technology client in Redmond, WA.
Candidate Requirements
- Must have proven, foundational professional HR experience.
- Must have direct experience providing performance management consultation to managers. (Candidates without this specific consulting experience will not be eligible).
- Foundational experience in HR, employee relations, or a related field with a working knowledge of performance management practices and HR policies.
- Experience working within a large or matrixed corporate organization is highly preferred.
- Proficient communication skills, sound judgment, the ability to remain impartial/objective, and a knack for building trust with managers and employees while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Typical Day & Key Responsibilities
As an HR HR Consultant, your daily focus will split between high-impact consulting and crucial data integrity projects:
- Consultation & Coaching: Coach and advise managers and employees on complex workplace matters, including career development, performance, workplace behavior, and policy interpretation.
- Data & Case Management: Contribute to short-term CRM/case management activities focused on data entry, accuracy, and broader organizational support.
- Issue Resolution: Lead the diagnosis and resolution of complex issues related to policy, culture, or employee relations concerns—partnering with HR, Legal, and Compliance to prioritize a safe, inclusive, and professional work environment.
- Process Optimization: Evaluate HR processes to identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve decision quality, and free up time for higher-impact consulting work.
- Trend Analysis: Identify and escalate trends in employee relations, using data-driven insights to anticipate training and capability needs.
- Policy Compliance: Apply corporate values and HR policies consistently across programs (e.g., leave, retirement, immigration, performance management) to ensure compliance and equity.
