Responsibilities
- strong customer service skills with the ability to work with diverse people
- Effective organizational and time management skills
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of health insurance and various medical procedures
- Ability to use software programs and medical technology
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving skills
- Fluency in other languages is beneficial
- Work Schedule During Training Period: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm CST
- Work Schedules After Training Period: 8:00am -4:30pm CST, 830AM-5PM CST, 9AM-530P CST or 930A-6PM CST
- Help patients & Facilities with pre-authoriziations and questions
- Track claims through the process, check and monitor the status of claims
- Transfer patients and providers to the customer service team regarding benefits
- Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits
- Answers phones and completes associated clerical tasks
