Responsibilities
- Own Accounts Payable: Manage the full AP cycle, from invoice verification and coding to scheduling payments.
- Keep Us Balanced: Handle daily bank and credit card reconciliations with high accuracy.
- Audit Support: Help gather documentation, prep schedules, and keep things organized for year-end reviews or tax season.
- Be the Backup: Assist the Accounting Manager with month-end closing, payroll support, and ad-hoc financial reporting.
- Experience: 3+ years in bookkeeping or accounting, ideally within a small business environment.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in [QuickBooks Online / Xero] and mid-to-advanced Excel.
- The Essentials: strong understanding of GAAP, solid reconciliation skills, and a sharp eye for spotting discrepancies.
- Attitude: Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable wearing a few different hats when needed.
