Responsibilities
Position Summary: Support healthcare operating teams in achieving people-related milestones across talent development, workforce performance, and labor cost management. This role functions as an autonomous subject matter expert, managing critical employee relations, compliance case closures, and strategic leadership consultations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently lead and resolve highly complex workplace investigations, staff counseling workflows, and progressive discipline structures with minimal training.
- Advise management teams on the meticulous application of internal HR policies, employment laws, and collective bargaining agreements.
- Resolve complex grievances and contract-driven complaint resolutions across both union and nonunion personnel environments.
- Manage end-to-end support for terminations, unemployment hearings, EEOC responses, and attorney demand letters.
- Guide leadership through organizational health initiatives, including talent management, succession planning, reductions in force, and manager onboarding.
- Facilitate training sessions centered on regulatory compliance, performance management systems, and evolving HR tools.
