Responsibilities
Position Summary: Support Sacramento Home Health by maintaining the integrity of electronic health records, analyzing charts for deficiencies, and managing medical records workflows to ensure documents are filed accurately and timely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze medical charts for completeness and notify providers regarding deficient or delinquent records.
- Retrieve, sort, file, and route clinical reports and documents to their appropriate chart locations.
- Update chart control systems and carefully manage physician suspension lists and logs.
- Assist in resolving record requests and merge duplicate health records across EPIC, legacy software systems, and paper files.
- Identify and report registration error trends while maintaining strict data tracking practices.
- Provide backup support for reception duties for physicians and department visitors.
