Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Due Diligence: Independently evaluate pharmacy order patterns and transaction data to detect potential diversion, theft, or fraudulent activity. Complete thorough due diligence reviews.
- Program Compliance: Execute strict internal SOM policies, maintain immaculate documentation, and collaborate with distribution centers to ensure the correct disposition of flagged orders.
- Program Evolution: Partner with management to optimize alert effectiveness and design proactive enhancements for our monitoring systems.
- Cross-Functional Liaison: Create exception reports and provide actionable data to division Health and Wellness leaders, distribution staff, and regulatory compliance teams.
- Experience: 3+ years in a retail pharmacy or pharmaceutical distribution environment.
- Skills: strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a naturally probing, investigative nature. High level of attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills; confident presenting findings and data directly to management.
- Tech Savvy: Highly skilled in Microsoft Office applications and general PC fluency.
- Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including regular weekend shifts, with minimal supervision while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) designation.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Prior experience in data analytics, transaction monitoring, or fraud investigation.

Responsibilities
• Independently analyze pharmacy order and transaction data to assess for potential diversion trends and completes due diligence reviews on orders of interest
• Execute internal SOM policies and procedures and maintain complete and accurate order review documentation in accordance with department standards
• Assist in activities related to the implementation, maintenance, support, design, and feedback of Suspicious Order Monitoring program
• Provide feedback on alert effectiveness and partner with management and analyst team to design and implement program enhancements
• Monitor the adherence of Pharmacy and Logistics policies, standards and procedures as they pertain to pharmacy processes and customer transactions for signs of potential diversion, theft or fraudulent activity
• Create and analyze exception reporting to support internal due diligence reviews
• Collaborate with distribution centers to ensure proper disposition of identified suspicious orders
• Communicate with division Health and Wellness leaders as necessary
• Report concerning findings, trends or information obtained during investigations to supervisor
• Liaise with applicable Regulatory Compliance and Training departments when appropriate
