Responsibilities
The Staff Accountant will manage key general ledger functions, consultant billings, and cash flow operations. Leveraging hands-on experience with ERP systems. Tis role ensures financial accuracy through rigorous reconciliations, vendor/consultant invoice processing, and adherence to GAAP standards.
- Oversee the end-to-end processing of consultant and subcontractor invoices.
- Verify consultant billings against contract terms, rate schedules, purchase orders, and deliverables.
- Reconcile sub-ledger activity (A/P, A/R, consultant accounts) to the General Ledger.
- Monitor daily cash balances and assist with cash flow forecasting and liquidity tracking.
- Maintain cash management schedules, tracking incoming payments and outgoing consultant obligations.
- Assist with audit preparations by gathering supporting documentation, schedules, and reconciliation records.
- Execute special projects, data analysis, and custom financial reports as requested by management.
