Senior Accountant – Multi-Property Operations Location: Las Vegas, NV (On-site)

Position Type: Full-Time / Exempt

Schedule: Monday – Friday (9-Hour Shift, e.g., 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Flexible start times available)

Salary Range: $65,000 – $75,000 (Commensurate with experience)

About the Role We are seeking a proactive, detailed-oriented, and career-minded Senior Accountant to join our established finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for general ledger accounting, financial closes, and account reconciliations across multiple operating properties.

This is a key position within a close-knit, collaborative accounting department. We are looking for an ambitious self-starter—someone who takes full ownership of their work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to develop into a future leadership/management position.

Qualifications & Skill Requirements

• Experience: 3–5+ years of progressive General Ledger accounting experience. Experience in Gaming, Hospitality, or Multi-Property Enterprise Accounting is strongly preferred.
  
  
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  
  
• Technical Software Proficiency:
  
  
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (data modeling, error-tracing, complex formulas, and macro execution).
    
    
  • Hands-on experience with BlackLine for reconciliations is highly desired.
    
    
  • Experience with major ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) is a major plus.
    
    
• Core Competencies:
  
  
  • Deep understanding of GAAP principles and full-cycle GL accounting.
    
    
  • High level of personal initiative—a "go-getter" mindset with a desire for career progression into management.
    
    
  • Ability to multitask across multiple property books simultaneously without sacrificing accuracy.

Responsibilities

• General Ledger & Month-End Close: Prepare and post complex journal entries, assist with period-end close procedures, and ensure financial statements are completed accurately and on schedule for multiple properties.
  
  
• Balance Sheet & Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations via BlackLine to ensure proper accounting treatment and variance resolution.
  
  
• Fixed Assets Management: Maintain fixed asset schedules, oversee depreciation calculations, and compile documentation for asset tracking across properties.
  
  
• Multi-Entity Accounting: Support financial oversight and reporting for primary local operations as well as secondary regional destination properties.
  
  
• Financial Reporting & Cash Tracking: Prepare daily cash reporting and assist in compiling schedule documentation and financial statement packages for management review.
  
  
• Process Improvement & Initiative: Identify workflow efficiencies, streamline reconciliation procedures, and take ownership of ad-hoc financial projects as needed.
