Key Qualifications:
Advanced skills in Unanet A/E billing, project setup, and system maintenance is a MUST.
Demonstrated supervisory experience leading accounting and/or billing staff.
Deltek Vision experience is a strong plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
Excellent written and oral communication capabilities.
Experience in a professional services firm a plus, big bonus if your experience is in the engineering space.

Key Responsibilities
- Team Supervision & Guidance: Direct, train, and mentor accounting staff (two billing accountants and one AR/collections accountant); advise and assist with collections functions as needed.
- Project Setup & Maintenance: Configure new projects, budgets, and billing terms in Unanet; organize project contracts and authorizations in the central database; update the intranet project system.
- Monthly Billing Cycle: Generate monthly pre-bills and WIP reports for Project Managers; process, post, and distribute final invoices according to client contract guidelines.
- Specialized Billing & Adjustments: Format specialized invoices, submit directly into client vendor management portals, and process adjustments, voids, or re-issuances as required.
- Project Lifecycle & Reporting: Perform project close-out procedures, generate post-billing analytical reports, and execute ad hoc reporting for the CFO and executive management.
