Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join their Finance team in the Greater Pawtucket area. In this role, you will manage vendor invoice processing, execute timely payments, maintain accurate AP files, and assist financial leadership with inventory and purchase price analysis. This is a direct hire opportunity paying 58-65k. Ideal candidate will have 3 years of proven experience ideally in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities

• Process inventory purchases using three-way matching principles.
  
  
• Code and enter non-inventory invoices to appropriate General Ledger (GL) accounts and departments.
  
  
• Prepare, process, and issue weekly accounts payable payments via check, ACH, and wire transfer.
  
  
• Maintain organized vendor files and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any invoice discrepancies or disputes.
  
  
• Track historical utility purchases and usage using analytical spreadsheets.
  
  
• Assist financial leadership with standard purchase price variance and cost analysis.
  
  
• Provide backup support for invoicing and front desk reception when needed.
  
  
• Maintain an organized work area and adhere to all facility safety guidelines.
  
  
• Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned.
