Key Responsibilities
- General Ledger & Month-End Close: Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and reclasses; reconcile GL accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, supporting schedules, and account variance analysis to present clear explanations to management. Assist with overall financial statements and management reporting.
- Compliance & Audits: Support internal and external audit requests by preparing documentation and answering inquiries while ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
- Asset Management: Assist with fixed asset accounting, including capitalization policies and depreciation schedules.
- Support special projects and perform other accounting duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience (manufacturing industry experience preferred).
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Excel
