- Experience: 2–4+ years of customer service, logistics coordination, or order management experience within a manufacturing, distribution, or 3PL environment.
- Software Aptitude: Demonstrated ability to quickly master proprietary software systems and order entry platforms; experience with enterprise ERP/CRM systems strongly preferred.
- Logistics Knowledge: Solid foundational understanding of shipping, freight scheduling, and multi-facility supply chain operations.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a track record of effective cross-departmental collaboration (sales, accounting, operations, compliance).
- Problem-Solving: Analytical and critical thinking skills to manage changing priorities, resolve complex shipping issues, and satisfy customer demands.

Responsibilities
- Order Entry & Scheduling: Receive, process, and enter customer orders accurately into an enterprise order management system (NEXUS); schedule product shipments to and from internal facilities and third-party logistics partners nationwide.
- Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact via phone and email for customer inquiries, order updates, account modifications, and issue resolution.
- Logistics & Plant Coordination: Collaborate directly with plant operations, shipping, and sales teams to coordinate product shipments, resolve delays (e.g., weather disruptions), and ensure customer requirements are met.
- Compliance & Claims Support: Interface with internal compliance officers to manage regulatory claims processing and documentation accurately.
- Record Keeping & Account Management: Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, order summaries, account adjustments, and service inquiries.
- Process Improvement: Identify and recommend operational enhancements in packaging, shipping, or billing procedures to minimize future delivery or billing discrepancies.
