Responsibilities
- Oversee day-of event execution, shuttle logistics, venue coordination, seating arrangements, and vendor schedules.
- Utilize event platforms (such as GiveSmart) to manage guest ticketing, donor tracking, live/silent auctions, and communications.
- Serve as the primary operational contact for guest inquiries, ticket sales, sponsor fulfillment, and donor hospitality.
- Coordinate transport, setup, and teardown of event staging, media equipment, auction items, and promotional materials.
- Manage post-event follow-ups, auction item distribution, and donor thank-you communications.
- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience managing event operations, venue logistics, or large-scale fundraiser execution.
- Platform Proficiency: Experience with event management software (e.g., GiveSmart, Eventbrite, or auction management software) is a strong plus.
- Stamina & Flexibility: Ability to work extended hours, late nights, and weekends during active gala/fundraiser cycles.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift, transport, and assemble heavy event equipment, staging elements, and display items.
- Composure Under Pressure: Calm, solutions-oriented demeanor under high-stress event conditions with high-profile guests and strict security protocols.
- Cultural Fit: Comfort with direct military communication styles, high accountability, and strong team-first camaraderie.
