This is a hands-on accounting position within a smaller, growing organization. The primary focus will be Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, inventory-related accounting, and general accounting support. Because this is a lean and collaborative team, there will also be opportunities to assist with order processing and other operational needs when accounting priorities allow. What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of hands-on accounting, bookkeeping, AP/AR, or similar experience
- Understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Experience with reconciliations and transactional accounting
- Comfortable researching discrepancies and following transactions through to resolution
- Experience with QuickBooks or another accounting/ERP system
- Excel skills and comfort working with financial data
- Highly organized with attention to detail and follow-through
- Able to work independently and shift priorities within a growing business
- Experience with inventory, purchase orders, order processing, ecommerce, wholesale, distribution, or consumer products is a plus, but not a requrirement.
Your accounting responsibilities will be the priority. However, in a smaller organization, there may be times when the accounting workload is lighter and you'll jump in to help with customer orders, purchase orders, inventory questions, or other operational needs.
The right person will be comfortable saying, "My accounting work is handled—what else can I help with?" rather than needing to stay strictly within an accounting lane.

Responsibilities
- Support Accounts Receivable including customer invoicing, payment posting, account inquiries, aging, and collections
- Support Accounts Payable including vendor invoices, purchase-order matching, payment preparation, and vendor inquiries
- Assist with inventory reconciliation and help ensure inventory records align across operational and accounting systems
- Manage and coordinate customer orders from receipt through processing and fulfillment
- Work with purchase orders, invoices, credits/debits, and supporting documentation
- Partner with accounting, operations, warehouse/fulfillment, customers, and vendors to resolve order discrepancies
- Review shipping and freight charges and assist with proper allocation
- Research and resolve billing, order, payment, and inventory discrepancies
- Assist with reconciliations, reporting, and month-end accounting activities
- Maintain accurate customer, vendor, order, and financial records
- Help identify opportunities to improve processes as the company continues to scale
