Our client is looking for someone who can handle both sales and project management from start to finish. This is not strictly an office PM role. The right person needs to be comfortable getting out in the field, building relationships, generating business, and then managing the projects they sell. Experience with screen enclosures, pergolas, outdoor living, pools, or general construction would be a major plus. However, they can train the product side if you have sales experience, strong people skills, and a solid basic understanding of construction.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with pool builders, home builders, contractors, designers, and other potential referral partners.
• Meet directly with homeowners and prospective clients.
• Follow up on incoming leads and marketing campaigns and actively generate new opportunities.
• Perform site visits, understand project conditions, and help develop the appropriate pergola/outdoor-living solution.
• Prepare and present proposals and close projects.
• Manage sold projects from contract through installation and completion.
• Coordinate measurements, engineering, permitting, material orders, scheduling, subcontractors, and installation crews.
• Maintain communication with customers throughout the project.
• Handle project billing, change orders, punch lists, and closeout.
• Take overall ownership of both the customer relationship and project performance.
