Key Responsibilities:
- Process high-volume, multi-state payroll accurately on a weekly basis.
- Review, calculate, and audit employee timecards, adjustments, and wage calculations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and tax requirements across multiple states.
- Handle payroll adjustments, garnishments, tax withholdings, and direct deposit setups.
- Respond promptly to employee inquiries regarding payroll, tax withholdings, and timekeeping.
- Assist with routine payroll reconciliations and reporting.
- Experience: 2+ years of high-volume, multi-state payroll processing experience required.
- Systems: Prior experience with UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) or Kronos preferred.
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of multi-state payroll guidelines, wage/hour laws, and tax regulations.
- Skills: High level of accuracy, strong organizational skills, proficiency in Excel, and excellent communication abilities.
