We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Staff Accountant to manage and oversee full-cycle accounting functions across a diverse portfolio of entities. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role plays an integral part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, smooth accounts payable processing, and cross-departmental financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting processes across multiple operating entities 
  
  
• Partner with the AP team to process high-volume vendor invoices, match purchase orders, resolve billing discrepancies, conduct weekly/monthly check runs, and perform year-end 1099 reporting.
  
  
• Perform regular bank, vendor statement, and general ledger account reconciliations across all business entities to ensure balance sheet integrity.
  
  
• Assist executive leadership with budgeting, forecasting, and creating pro forma financial models for upcoming development projects.
  
  
• Track incoming receivables and reconcile customer accounts specifically tailored to interior design and rental operations.
  
  
• Calculate and file sales tax returns, review operating results to ensure appropriate pricing strategies, and manage vendor/purchasing inquiries.
  
  
• Maintain advanced Excel models, monitor insurance compliance, and conduct specialized financial analyses as requested.
