We are seeking a Billing Specialist for an 8-month contract in Shelton, CT. This fully on-site role emphasizes accounts receivable, collections, and invoicing, with client interactions primarily conducted via email. Responsibilities
- Accurate Invoicing: Process customer billing accurately and on time, reviewing invoices, purchase orders, and contracts to ensure precise information.
- AR & Collections Support: Oversee accounts receivable, manage billing inquiries, and handle minor cash application tasks as needed.
- Client Communication: Clear billing discrepancies and answer customer inquiries—primarily via written email correspondence, with occasional phone follow-ups.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner closely with Sales and Finance teams to align on specialized billing requirements and support month-end reporting needs.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain fully organized, compliant billing records and documentation to streamline audits and financial reviews.
