We are seeking an experienced Lead AP Specialist to take full ownership of our multi-entity financial operations in a high-visibility, hybrid role. Reporting directly to the Controller, you will serve as a key operational partner—managing end-to-end invoice workflows, tri-weekly payment execution, and month-end reconciliations. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle AP & GL Coding

• Manage end-to-end AP across multiple entities, coding recurring bills, POs, non-PO expenses, and employee requests to appropriate GL accounts.
  
  
• Match invoices against POs/receiving documents, ensure authorized signatures, and manage sales/use tax compliance.
  
  

Payment Execution & Banking

• Execute tri-weekly payment runs via ACH, wire, check, and corporate card.
  
  
• Maintain vendor records (W-9s) and oversee year-end 1099 reporting.
  
  

Reconciliation & Month-End Close

• Reconcile vendor statements, resolve account discrepancies, and perform AP month-end close (AP Aging, payment lists, accruals).
  
  
• Provide backup documentation and schedules for internal and external audits.
  
  

Stakeholder Management

• Act as primary contact for vendor and internal AP inquiries, tactfully resolving incomplete submissions with business managers.
  
  
• Complete ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects for the Controller.
