Job Overview We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounting Clerk at our facility located in Oyster Bay, NY. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for handling daily accounting transactions, billing, deposits, report reconciliations, customer collection communications, and support with monthly sales commission determinations.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Document Processing: Compile and sort key documents, including invoices and checks.
• Billing & Deposits: Process daily billings and ensure check deposits are submitted electronically.
• Transaction Posting: Verify and post details of business transactions, such as funds received, and total accounts accurately.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare, print, and reconcile various financial reports as needed, including:
  • Daily bank reports
  • Weekly accounts receivable reports
  • Month End Close and monthly department profit and loss reports
• Accounts Receivable & Collections: Maintain current accounts by making collection calls, sending overdue invoices, and maintaining accurate records of collection efforts.
• POS & Commissions Support: Assist in monthly point-of-sale (POS) customer data imports and sales commission determinations.
