Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive human resources experience, including HR management or senior generalist responsibilities.
- Experience supervising or mentoring HR staff.
- Expereince in employee relations, HR compliance, benefits administration, and performance experience
- Experience supporting hourly, operational, field-based, or multi-location employee populations
- Working knowledge of HRIS platforms; BambooHR experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with contingent labor, independent contractors, and PEO relationships is highly valued
- Communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable operating independently while partnering with leadership across multiple functions
- On-Site Presence: ability to work full-time, with flexibility for future hybrid days

Responsibilities
- HR Operations & Strategy: Lead daily HR operations across corporate and regional locations (90+ core employees; scaling up to 500+ seasonal/contract workers). Drive workplace efficiency and participate in executive-level strategic meetings.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and direct two remote HR team members specializing in onboarding/offboarding, compliance (I-9s), contractor coordination, and recruitment.
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Overhaul and optimize recruitment and onboarding workflows to improve retention, reduce time-to-hire, and support rapid multi-site scaling.
- HRIS & Systems Optimization: Evaluate and modernize the current HR and payroll tech stack (Kelly Benefits/BambooHR), with an eye toward driving future automation and enterprise system upgrades (e.g., potential Workday migration).
- Policy & Employee Relations: Strengthen employee relations, compliance, performance management, and benefit administration programs across non-union corporate and distribution environments.
