As a Payroll Coordinator, you will play a key role in keeping our client's organization running smoothly by making sure everyone gets paid accurately and on time. Working closely with HR and Finance, you’ll serve as the go-to payroll expert, guiding their team, maintaining compliance, and continuously improving their processes in a supportive, collaborative environment. 37.5hrs per week

salary: $25 - $32 per hour

Responsibilities

• Payroll Operations & Processing: Direct and oversee semi-monthly payroll, review and approve payroll data, and manage garnishments (e.g., child support, tax levies).
  
  
• Compliance & Audits: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll regulations while supporting audits, reconciliations, and year-end reporting.
  
  
• Team Leadership & Support: Guide, train, and manage payroll staff, providing performance feedback and direct issue resolution for employees.
  
  
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with HR and Finance to address discrepancies, review payroll-related balances, and support tax, retirement, and bank reconciliation activities.
  
  
• Systems & Reporting: Manage payroll system upgrades, testing, and process improvements while preparing key payroll reports for management.
