Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Cash Application Specialist to join our Finance team in Boca Raton. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations by processing payments, reviewing refunds, reconciling accounts, and supporting customer service and BPO teams. Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma required; some college coursework preferred.
- Experience: 1–2+ years of hands-on experience in cash applications, account reconciliations, or payment processing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry, reporting, and reconciliation.
- Key Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail, numerical accuracy, ability to meet strict daily deadlines, and effective written/verbal communication skills.
- Preferred: Knowledge or background in insurance consumer premium receivables is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Payment & Refund Processing: Accurately post policyholder payments into the administration system, review system-generated refunds, and manage bank correspondence.
- Customer Inquiry Resolution: Respond to customer service requests regarding voiding and reapplying funds, cash investigations, credit card voids, chargebacks, expedited refunds, and voiding/reissuing checks.
- Account Reconciliation: Analyze aged Accounts Receivable (A/R) balances for potential write-offs and resolve complex billing discrepancies.
- BPO Collaboration: Handle escalated queries and assist our offshore Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) team.
