Responsibilities
Purchase Order Management: Generate, enter, track, and manage purchase orders from initiation to completion using internal procurement software or ERP systems
Vendor Relations: Interface regularly with suppliers to request price quotes, compare costs, negotiate terms, and follow up on shipment statuses to ensure on-time delivery
Inventory Control: Work closely with the production and warehouse teams to conduct cycle counts, research stock discrepancies, and adjust standard stock inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock
Discrepancy Resolution: Partner with Accounts Payable to investigate and resolve billing, invoicing, and cost variance disputes. Coordinate with logistics to handle product quality issues, such as rejected or damaged materials received in shipments
Reporting & Data Entry: Maintain and compile purchasing records, update master price lists, and handle heavy data entry tasks to ensure high-accuracy financial and logistics logging
