Key Opportunities to Make an Impact
- Drive Financial Accuracy: Execute general ledger activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash workflows in line with GAAP.
- Lead Period-End Closes: Facilitate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cycles, delivering dependable financial statements.
- Deliver Actionable Analyses: Prepare ad hoc financial reports and operational analyses to empower business partners.
- Support Audit Readiness: Assist with internal and external audit reviews, entity filings, and board-level reporting.
- Optimize Workflows: Recommend process enhancements, master enterprise systems, and adapt deliverables to shifting priorities.
- Experience: 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with a stable career track; property or hotel management background strongly preferred.
- Excel & Analytical Strengths: Solid MS Excel ability, including hands-on use of VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and PivotTables.
- Accounting Foundation: Working knowledge of general ledger, reconciliations, financial reporting, and standard GAAP rules.
- Growth Mindset: Coachable, patient when learning complex systems, eager to ask questions, and ready to cross-cover teammates.
- Education & Preferences: Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance preferred (or equivalent practical experience). Microsoft Dynamics GP and fixed assets knowledge (10–15% of role) are welcome pluses; training is provided.
