We are looking for an adaptable, proactive HR Generalist to help drive our people operations and support our growing team. In this role, you won’t just manage policies—you’ll be a trusted advisor to managers, a reliable advocate for employees, and a key architect of our workplace culture. salary: $21 - $28 per hour

Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, coordinating hiring manager schedules, extending offers, running background checks, and leading orientation.
  
  
• Employee Relations: Mediating workplace conflicts, conducting fair internal investigations, addressing grievances, and maintaining a positive, collaborative culture.
  
  
• HR Compliance & Employment Law: Ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local labor standards (such as FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, and OSHA), updating employee handbooks, and managing legally mandated reporting.
  
  
• Compensation & Benefits Administration: Enrolling employees in health and retirement plans, processing life event changes, assisting with salary benchmarking, and coordinating with payroll.
  
  
• Performance Management: Managing annual and quarterly review cycles, coaching supervisors on delivering constructive feedback, and drafting Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).
  
  
• HR Information Systems (HRIS) & Data Management: Maintaining core employee records, generating workforce reports, managing applicant tracking systems (ATS), and tracking key metrics like turnover and time-to-hire.
