A client of ours here in Louisville, KY is hiring for a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Manager / Bookkeeper with extensive experience managing fast-paced administrative workflows and essential financial operations within a professional environment. Proven track record in meticulously handling full-charge bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, bank reconciliations, and coordinating office budgets, vendor relationships, and reporting deadlines with absolute precision. Exceptional at maintaining organized office systems, overseeing facilities and supply logistics, and providing seamless, professional support to team leadership, accounting personnel, and external clients to ensure seamless daily office operations. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a competitive base salary and benefits package.

salary: $55,000 - $60,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Billing & Accounts Receivable: Issue client invoices based on completed moving contracts, collect past-due balances, and reconcile accounts.
  
  
• Financial Reporting & Bookkeeping: Record payments (ACH, checks, cards, cash) in QuickBooks, track vendor payables, and generate monthly sales/revenue performance reports.
  
  
• Human Resources & Compliance: Coordinate the full hiring and onboarding workflow while maintaining compliant personnel records and required industry certifications.
  
  
• Culture & Team Engagement: Serve as the workplace culture ambassador by planning team-building events, celebrations, and morale-boosting initiatives across office and field teams.
  
  
• Digital Marketing & Reputation: Manage social channels, run automated email campaigns, and actively solicit and respond to customer reviews on Google and Yelp.
  
  
• Daily Office Operations: Answer calls, resolve customer service inquiries, manage office schedules, and oversee inventory for office equipment and moving supplies.
